GIS curriculum consists of three components:

• Academic Subjects: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies which comprise 54% of weekly instructional time for students in grades one to four and 61% of instructional time for students in grades five to eight.
• Islamic Education Classes: Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies, which comprise about 30% of weekly instructional time for all students.
• Enrichment classes: physical education, art and computer, which comprises 13% of weekly instructional time for students in grades one to four and 8% of instructional time for students in grades five to eight.
