Granada Islamic School accepts Zakat donations. Zakat donations are tax-deductible and are used to fund the financial aid budget to help needy families with their children’s GIS tuition. You can give the gift of an Islamic education to a needy child by making a tax-deductible Zakat donation. Financial aid is awarded to families based on income and family size and ranges from five to eighty percent of tuition for eligible families. In 2006-07 we offered financial aid to approximately 50 students, but still have to turn others away due to lack of funds. Our hope is that one day every Muslim child will have the opportunity to attend Islamic school. Your tax-deductible donation can help make this a reality and have a lasting impact on the life of a Muslim child.
