Welcome to the GIS Library Media Center, a cheery, comfortable place for reading & research! We have a modern library and adjoining computer lab with 28 P.C.’s and flat panel displays!
Our Collection: We have over 7500 fiction, non-fiction, and reference books, including over 600 Muslim storybooks and Islamic Studies resources for children and young adults.
Our Mission: The GIS library Media Center’s mission is to help every student find, evaluate, and use information independently, and to promote the enjoyment of reading.
Hours: Our library hours are 8:30 –3:30 Monday through Thursday, and 8:30-2:30 on Friday. Our library staff includes Sarah Baig and Shaheena Khan.
Check out Policy: Students in grades 2-8 may check out as many books as their grade, i.e. 3rd graders may check out 3 books. There are no late fines, however new books cannot be checked out until books are returned.
