The mission of the GIS Library is to support the curriculum and encourage student reading, but our vision is much more encompassing. We want the Library to be the hub of student academic activity. The library is actively engaged in teaching information literacy and technology skills. We look forward to collaborating with you to create powerful units of instruction, enhanced by print and electronic resources.
When you begin to plan a new unit, stop by the library to meet and determine how best the library can support your project. Together we will schedule library time for your class visits and determine if and how we should team-teach your project. Rotating classroom collections of books are available. See a librarian!
